Peonies
are very easy to grow, requiring little or no human interaction
to thrive in almost any garden. Peonies will live in almost
any soil condition, and hardy in zones two through eight.
Peonies thrive best in full sun conditions, but can easily
handle partial shade. These flowers are known best for their
ability to live on their own.
Peonies
are often thought of as being plants that grow out in the
country, and are associated closely with fields and farmhouses.
The addition of a peony or several peonies to a garden will
bring that country look home. The vividly colored blooms of
a peony flower will attract butterflies and other insects
to the garden.

| Peonies
have so many uses, it is no wonder that they are one of the
most sought after garden flowers. Peonies will add a touch
of the country life to any garden or home. It is not at all
uncommon to see peonies lining driveways or lanes, either
in mass or in defined rows.
